Skye

Skye joined the Woodend veterinary team after completing placement at the clinic in 2021. Skye currently holds a diploma in animal technology and an associate degree in veterinary nursing. She will obtain a bachelor of veterinary nursing once she completes her studies at the end of the year.

Skye is a lover of all animals, and her passion lies in nursing both small and large animals. She aspires to work with equine patients one day but absolutely loves working with small animal patients and has a strong interest in surgical nursing and providing overall gold-standard patient care. Skye loves being a part of the Woodend team and is grateful for the opportunity to learn everything she can from her wonderful colleagues.

In her personal time, Skye enjoys leisure rides on her thoroughbred horse Barry and spends lots of time with her menagerie of pets. She has two horses, two dogs, six sheep and a parrot.
